Knowing who your competition is, what keywords and phrases to use and which people are looking for in your topic area are all powerful resources. Here are six to use:
Analytics is always important–what words and phrases work and what is your competition doing, what don’t. SemRush is a tool that you can use quickly just a click away.
Fast results are critical when the search is on. A great tool is SerpStat … knowing what your service is, what your books is about and who it is for opens up the door to keywords, phrases that others are using to search for. Think of it as a reverse directory.
Competition is always there. Add KeyWordSpy to your list of tools to check out what it is doing and what words/phrases are being used.
This is hot … meet Cyfe, a nifty tool that is great for hashtag tracking. The dashboard allows creating a memory holder for easy reference, especially on the latest hashtags for your niche. Cyfe allows for the adding of tracking Twitter and Google Plus hashtags. Think of it as an all-in-one dashboard.
The Google Keyword Suggest Tool is quick and easy to use online, providing results for Google, YouTube, Amazon and Bing. Always smart to see what Google suggests. All you do is enter a word and Google immediately suggests words to use.
An excellent companion to use along with Google Keyword Suggest Tool, try out KeywordTool.io is another freebie–IDing what buyers, visitors, and audiences are looking for on Google, Bing, YouTube and App Store.
