“The WANTS, DESIRES, and the GET”

The emotional factor usually is in play when one thinks of a WANT or DESIRE. For authors, it connects with books—a reader WANTS your latest title … that would be a fan. Or it could be the genre, the reader desires self-help or romance—any romance novel. That’s what is called a super fan of a genre.
Your marketing should be directed toward satisfying the wants and desires.
Book buyers like books … love books. Whether in print, digital, or audio—they go to the place where they can GET what they want … online or an in-person store or library.
Here’s the good thing that can happen. After the GET, then a new window opens. If the book reader loves what you produce … they want MORE. For the author, that’s a good thing. You get to feed the WANT.
Your challenge is to create the WANT or DESIRE in a reader. The more times you can, the better for building your author influence and developing super fans to delightfully wait for your next book.
