At the AuthorU Extravaganza, twenty Finalists were breathless held over the past weekend in Denver, Colorado. Who would be the top Winners in the first Draft to Dream Book Competition sponsored by AuthorU.org? 
Each of Finalists were already winners, earning close to $1,000 in prizes. The Grand Prize Winners would pull down close to $10,000 in publishing services, including editing, layout, design of interior and exterior, distribution, ebook creation and much more.

I love seeing new authors emerging in genres they’ve never published in before. I wasn’t a judge for this competition and avoided reading any of the manuscripts. The judges were all librarians who stepped up to the plate to support new authors. The comments made ranged from, “This needs a lot more work,” to “This draft is ready for it’s final edit.”
