Are You Ready for the Bublish Express?

Last week was swamped for me. I had multiple books on my plate got a big one—The Thrill of the Ride— that I’ve been doing the rewrites for several months off my plate and to the layout designer; two Indexes completed and approved by the author for two different books—final cold eye edits went in yesterday; working intensely with one of my favorite clients on what I believe will be a ground-breaking book for EVERY small business owner; prepped to finish inputting all the rewrite edits for another book this coming week; and I learned two new tools. Whew!

Two tools that I’ve talked about on the AuthorU-Your Guide to Book Publishing podcast and that I’ve seen the results/recommended to others. But tools that I hadn’t personally implemented for myself until this past weekend. And WOOT—they are hot.

So sizzling hot, that I will be integrating both and be personalizing for all my attendees at this year’s

Here’s my pitch—get registered for THREE author changing days June 22-24, 2017. It’s three days with me. The site is Denver at the Radisson Hotel SE. All info is on the website under Events.

The first is Bublish. An easy, fun tool that is kind of a hoot. All you have to do is upload your eBook file. You don’t have one yet? Guess what, you can upload your completed, edited manuscript and Bublish will do it for you for FREE.

Okay, that hurdle is done. Next up is to complete your profile—picture, short bio, what the book is about—your hook. Add your Twitter and Facebook links.

Now, open your “book” and copy a chapter or just a short section and paste it into a special window/bubble; and then you add a few comments to it—why you wrote it, what you were thinking—an aha for the reader. Think of it as a way to let the reader (who can easily click over now and buy the book) in on what’s happening or going on; what motivated you; etc. It’s a terrific way to engage the reader in a way he or she hasn’t experienced. Then you “publish” your new Bubble—Twitter, Facebook, email. Very, very cool. Here’s one of mine:

And the second?  I’ll share next week. Meanwhile, here’s to you and an awesome author week. I plan to have lots more Bublish Delights … how about you?
