Day 5 … we are in St Maarten today … I’m staying on the ship, meeting with a few of our attendees and brainstorming their books. Along with me came Hans Sitter’s second manuscript—The Thrill of the Ride to get the final edits in and move back to him for approval/reject/adds … then we will go to layout next week.
During the day, I fired off emails to designers who have created my books over the years. Gathering up epub files for all things to be eBooks and the final pdfs to make sure the epub file is created so I can get all my personal books that I have published are “out there.” It’s my turn.
Tomorrow, I’m going to be tinkering with Bublish.com in the afternoon and uploading at 
sea!
The ship’s clock is two hours ahead of my regular Mountain Time … which means the 7 am “let’s get moving” mode is 5 am my time, a time I’m normally into the day with a hot cup of tea; reviewing news; and getting started. Perfect!
The seas have been wonderfully calm throughout our transitions. This evening, Joan Stewart and I slipped into the large theater on the ship and were delightfully surprised with the stage production—we loved, loved the music, the humor of the all the players. A grand way to end the evening at 9.45 pm.
Tomorrow … oh my … Several of us are making our way at 7.45 am to participate in a cooking class on St. Kitts. Yummers.
