“The Mastery Secret”
Years ago, I worked on my MBA. In one of the modules, a required reading was George Leonard’s Mastery. It was voted the favorite of my entire class.
The core of the book was power, mastery, and success.
It introduced the power of plateauing.
Who knew?
Plateauing wasn’t being stuck.
Plateauing was a place to gather knowledge, to learn and strengthen.
Who knew?
Knowledge, learning, and gaining strength is rarely continuous.
It comes in leaps and periods of plateaus.
Plateaus that become fuel for the next leap.
Who knew?
Mastery.
Now, I know. And you as well.
