When you write from your heart, you tell the truth.
Have you ever opened your computer or had a pad of paper in front of you and pondered, “What should I write about?”
Sometimes a speed write can set the tone. Look around your space. ID three objects. Start a paragraph that uses all three in it and then let the words flow. Stop in three to five minutes.
Now, redirect your thoughts. Start with your interests. Something that caught your attention. Read the last page of what you wrote in your recent draft.
Bring the truth of your story to your words.
Bring the truth of your wisdom to your words.
It’s a good thing.
