Savvy Author Advice … Is a Traditional Publisher Your Right Fit?
Every author needs to deep dive into the reality of being picked up by a traditional “real” publisher. If it’s a dream … a goal, then a plan needs to be in play.
Plan A could be picked up by a “real” publisher. Plan B needs to run parallel with it. What is Plan B? It’s a plan where you take control.
My advice: think REALLY HARD before you spend a year or two trying to please an agent to pitch your book to a publisher. Do you have that much time to get your story or advice into the public’s hands? Are you willing to give up control of how your book looks, feels like, is presented, and is promoted?
