Not a week goes by that I don’t have a conversation with a client, a future client, or just an aspiring author that the word “someday” doesn’t surface as we chat. Or talk about moving forward with the next step, whatever it could be. Today is April Fool’s Day. Don’t fool others with your words … or yourself.

Someday, I’ll write my book.
Someday, I’ll start writing my next book.
Someday, I’ll focus on marketing my book.
Someday, I’ll write a press release on my book.
Someday, I’ll clear my clutter away.
Someday, I’ll do a “me” day.
Someday, I’ll take a real vacation.
Someday, I’ll learn how to speak another language.
Someday can continue in a perpetuity loop. What it supports is procrastination, never-ending excuses, and gulp, the cloud of failure.

You will eliminate the word SOMEDAY from your vocabulary.
