It’s Time to Claim Your Book Award by Judith Briles

It’s Time to Claim Your Book Fame … Awards Are in Your Reach!

Dear Authors … it’s pat on the back time. Many of the book award deadlines have passed … or are about to. One of the ones that I recommend that you participate in the International Book Awards sponsored by the American Book Fest. There are over 80 categories to select from—surely one (or two) are the right fit for your book.

This year’s 2020 International Book Awards hits its deadline on May 31, 2020. The results will be announced in early July 2020. Thousands compete (including authors from major publishers) … I’m tickled to say that many of my clients, as well as members of the AuthorYOU community, have won multiple awards over the past ten years.

Here’s all the info you need to do to enter …

The 11th Annual International Book Awards (IBA 2020) are specifically designed to be a promotional vehicle for authors and publishers to launch their careers, open global markets and compete with talented authors and publishers throughout the world.

Here’s what other past winners have shared:

“During the past four days, my website has experienced a fourfold increase in traffic. I can think of no particular marketing efforts resulting in this significant jump other than the International Finalist Award.”-Phil Thurman, Finalist

“Marketing for my novel, Simon Says, will be greatly enhanced as a winner.” -William Poe, Winner

“It is evident that your award enterprise embraces the hard work and achievements of worldwide authors and publishing companies and are fully committed to propelling them to aim high and succeed with excellence.” -Michele Wright, Ph.D., Winner, Atria/Simon & Schuster

“In these changing times for the entire publishing industry, I think these awards really can help consumers understand higher-quality publications available in the marketplace.”

And my disclaimer: I’ve entered When God Says NO: Revealing the YES When Adversity and Loss Are Present in a few categories, including for cover design (thank you, Rebecca Finkel). I’m proud to say that many of my titles have been both Gold winners and Finalists over the years. You will be, too.

Good luck to all of YOU! And, let me know if you are a Finalist or a Gold Winner so I can shout it out.
