New blog: Bad writing isn’t terminal

Most with writer’s block doesn’t have a problem writing. What they have is a problem accepting that bad writing, imperfect writing, writing that might expose something they dread, writing that might feel, sound like, look like, even be, amateurish.

Let it go. EVERY writer and author experience these scenarios.

If you wait for the perfection fairy, your book won’t happen. Perfect is a snowflake. If you wait for it to arrive, you’ll never get where you envision your “there” to be.

Embrace the fact that a bad writing day, even a crappy one, isn’t terminal. In fact, it could be a seed to an amazing word sprint that’s ready to bubble.

And embrace this fact: the more you write, the better you get … the more you write, the faster you get. It’s a good thing!

Just write … then write some more.
