Good Authoring Day to YOU

This past week, I started my online How to Write a Nonfiction Book in 4 Weeks with a sold out-group. So much fun. I love the variety of authors and the books-to-be that they represent. One of the activities we did was on book titles. All but one of the attendees nailed theirs down. That’s a huge “carrot” to be able to dangle to reach for as they go forward. Note: I will repeat this in May—it’s on my website—www.TheBookShepherd.com—there are only 8 slots left. We meet on Wednesdays via Zoom at 3 pm Mountain time.

It’s been a cooking week for me. John is loving it. One night it was chicken marsala, another a new quiche recipe I was playing with … last night, a delicious French onion soup. Tonight, it’s a hearty Caesar salad and hot sourdough bread. Yummers.

Alert to all of you in Colorado who are VIP AuthorYOU members … the April second Saturday AuthorYOU Salons of the year is slated for April 11th WILL BE VIRTUAL. It starts at 8.30 a.m., ending at 11.30 a.m.

It’s on Zoom—Here’s the link (copy and paste in your browser)—accept the audio on computer and when in, in the lower left of the dashboard at the bottom CLICK on the camera so that you are not blocked: https://zoom.us/j/981377161?pwd=Zy9pQm11aG5PUDNXVWZwUE5XQTQ3Zz09

Stay well is a “cry” heard across the land as this month continues to unfold. Yesterday was our first VAHH—Virtual Authors Happy Hour—a Zoom gathering with a favorite beverage, maybe a nibble to two—and brainstorming with authors within my publishing community. The art of social distancing got a high five form us. Join at me at ZoomTails on Fridays at 5 p.m. Mountain time:
