Holy Moly … here we are in SEPTEMBER already. How could the year be rolling out and by so fast? Get ready for colors changing, heavy sweaters and coats resurfacing, and fires beginning to blaze in some homes for warmth. Actually, I love this time of the year. I mourn the passing of summer that officially happens later in the month … knowing that snow and ice will be coming my way. But … I also know that Holidays are a coming; friends gathering; the author October Tea and Book Sales and my annual author Publishing At Sea cruise will pop up and will find me in the warmth of the Caribbean in January … let’s see, that will be in 113 days from today … nice!
This weekend marks summer over for many—school is open for the kids—and the last long weekend until Thanksgiving. It’s Labor Day weekend, a time to honoring the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws, and well-being of the country. I can definitely support that.
