Investing in Your Book

Creating a book isn’t cheap.
If you are trying to create your book on a shoestring, it might make sense to take a pass. There are costs associated with its production—from editing to layout to cover design to cover copy to printing. And that’s just the beginning. Don’t shortcut.

If you choose the template publishing route, you can save money. You also will have less control; the possibility of lesser quality; and your net proceeds will be less. In other words, do your homework. Being naïve isn’t an option in publishing today.
