Good Authoring Day to YOU

Although the IRS extended filing deadlines this year, I did my “normal” and automatically filed for extensions to October. And then the “bug” hit me—let’s get this done. And one and filed it is. I’ve broken my 25 year streak from being on the road always during the spring with speaking and transition to being filed before required!  It’s a change in the making.

This coming week, I’ll be taping all my May podcasts. One of the show themes will focus on getting you and your books into schools—schools for kids, schools for adults.

And, I think I have snow fatigue … another week … two more days of white stuff surrounding my home and property. Enough already. In Colorado, we hear of drought … Where? How? … I’m not thinking so in my neck of the woods.

My new deck furniture is dribbling in … four more chairs to go. After doing the research putting tiles on my ten foot outdoor dinning table, I’ve scraped that idea (primarily due to weight) and now in the process of getting the sewing machine out and making long table runners which will serve as placemats. Warm weather is coming and I’ll be ready for it. And I love my new “happy dishes” that I discovered yesterday when I was in a Home Goods store—a single artistic peony gracing the dinner plate. Puts a smile on my face.

Several books went to print and authors are now putting their “sales hats” on.

That’s my past week … how about you … what are you up to?
